Ornithologist and birdwatching guide
I have a bachelor's degree in tourism and biology and master's degree in Ecology and Natural Resource Management. I'm actually a PhD candidate in Zoology at Federal University of Amazonas (UFAM). I study birds since 2009 and have published scientific papers on natural history and distribution of birds in national and international scientific journals. Since 2013 I work as a birdwatching guide and also as an environmental consultant. I have experience in Central and Southwestern Amazon. Since 2014 I have been living in Manaus. Between 2015 and 2017 I coordinated the birdwatching activities at the Amazonian Museum (MUSA).
I have already published nature photos in books, magazines, websites and scientific papers and I also contribute with citizen science platforms.
